We are publishing the central element of the first season of the project Music Ambassadors of Slovenian Tourism – Slovenia, Sounds Exceptional – a music competition intended for all musicians who seek their inspiration in the hidden corners of our beautiful Slovenia.
What is the challenge?
From a selection of promotional videos of Slovenian tourist destinations and providers, the musicians will choose any one they wish and prepare their own accompanying musical interpretation – either as a background music for the video or as music composition inspired by destinations as mentioned above. A jury of experts will shortlist the entries, which will then be publicly announced in a special online and social media vote, where the winners will be decided by the popular vote. The best entries will be featured on a special interactive map of Slovenia, together with the selected providers and destinations, and will of course be rewarded for their participation.
